If your multi-function printer has email functionality, you can use Fax.Plus to send a fax from printer online. Follow these steps to learn how to fax from printer online:
Make sure the outgoing email address already set up on your all-in-one printer device is the same as your Fax.Plus username.
Open the scanner lid, place the document you wish to fax, and close the scanner lid.
On the printer control panel, choose the Email option.
In the To field, type the destination’s fax number (along with the country and area code) followed by @fax.plus (example: +16692001010@fax.plus).
Send your email and your scanned document will be faxed to the recipient instantly.
If your printer already comes with the faxing capability, you just need to put the document you wish to fax to the specified place, enter the recipient's fax number and send fax from printer. However, with internet-enabled printers, you can use the email feature and send fax from printer online. Fax.Plus offers the email to fax feature allowing you to send fax from multi-function printers and scanners. Simply scan the document you wish to fax from printer and send it as a normal email on your MFP. You just need to add the recipient's fax number in the To field.
Go to the Send Fax section and enter the recipient’s fax number in the To field (country code + area code + fax number). You can send fax online from computer to multiple fax numbers at once.
Attach the documents you wish to fax. You can also add an optional fax cover sheet to you faxes and add some details about the recipient.
Send your fax and wait for the confirmation report. You will receive the report in your email, via push notification within Fax.Plus mobile app and can also be viewed in your Web dashboard.
