Make sure the outgoing email address already set up on your all-in-one printer device is the same as your Fax.Plus username. Otherwise see section below "setting up fax on your HP printer with Fax.Plus"

Open the scanner lid, place the document you wish to fax, and close the scanner lid.

On the printer control panel, choose the Email option.

In the To field, type the destination’s fax number (along with the country and area code) followed by @fax.plus (example: +16692001010@fax.plus).

To send a test fax on a HP printer, follow these steps:

Prepare Your Printer: Ensure your HP printer is set up for faxing according to your home or office setup instructions. Make sure ink cartridges are installed and paper is loaded in the input tray

Enter Test Fax Number: Use the control panel to enter the fax number: 1-888-HP-FAX-ME (1-888-473-2963) in the U.S. If using the scanner, press the right arrow until "Fax B&W" appears on the LCD screen, then press the green start button

Send Fax: If using the control panel directly, select the option to send a fax and enter the test number. If using the scanner, press the "1" button to choose sending from the scanner glass

Wait for Confirmation: AfterThe HP Fax Test Service will send a return fax within 5 to 7 minutes if your fax is successful. If you don't receive a fax after 10 minutes, you may need to troubleshoot your setup
